In spite of what some unnamed 'Certified Art Expert' may claim, Box 2 Christmas Tree 2008 is obviously the jewel of the series. Would you expect to go to the Louvre and take home the Venus de Milo (http://www.louvre.fr/media/repository/ressources/sources/illustration/atlas /image_122927_v2_m56577569831227343.jpg)? But you could go to the Louvre and take home a slightly sad replica of the Venus de Milo (http://www.finearttouch.com/shop/images/Venus%20de%20Milo.jpg). In that vein I therefore offer the 'Box 2 Christmas Tree 2008 Simulacrum': Cross-cut pieces of dowel in a papier-mâché box. Sixty-eight dowel sections varying from 1 3/4 to 2-inches long and 3/8 to 3/4-inches in diameter. Papier-mâché non-vintage box (outer dimensions: approximately 4.75 x 4.75 x 2-inches) with lid. Includes 3-pak of 'Little Trees' in Royal Pine scent for that authentic Christmas Tree smell. Images may be seen here: http://www.concretewheels.com/simulacrum.htm Act now as none of this has been cleared with Allen and les flics may arrive at any second... Cheers, Jamie Newton
